The Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra, P.L., a full service creditors rights firm, has been offering representation exclusively in Florida since our founding in 1986. The firm is a founding member of Default Attorney Group, and member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN), the Commercial Law League of America and other professional organizations. We are a mid-size foreclosure firm in East Tampa.
The DIL Specialist will communicate with borrowers and various third parties associated with real estate transactions relating to foreclosures/bankruptcies and educate them on options available to resolve their delinquency.
|Duties:|| Initiate contact with customers who have defaulted on their mortgages. |
Respond to customer inquiries regarding mortgage defaults and loss mitigation options.
Recommend and initiate loss mitigation options that are appropriate to the situation. Loss mitigation options range from repayment plans to modifications to short sales & deeds-in-lieu.
Coordinate and facilitate loss mitigation efforts with associated departments, foreclosure counsel, investors, and mortgage insurance companies.
Communicate with attorneys on loss mitigation efforts and arrangements.
Initiate and monitor research on accounts as required.
Familiar with Real Estate Liens, Mortgages and Title
Proven track record in Title Curative and Preparation of Deeds
Familiar with Assignments of Mortgage and Chain of Title
Understanding of Estoppels, Lien Affidavits and Satisfaction of Mortgage
Ability to negotiate payoffs of liens, judgments and code violations
FDCPA experience helpful.
Ability to work under stringent deadlines stressing urgency to achieve monthly goals.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Basic knowledge of PCs and related software such as Excel and Word
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material.
Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, punctual, dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Paralegal Certification Required or 3 + years experience in a foreclosure law firm.
Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following:
Foreclosure, REO, Bankruptcy & Eviction experience 2 5 years
Title experience 2 -5 years
Mortgage Servicing 2 -5 years
Foreclosure knowledge (process and statute)
3-5 years in a default/foreclosure processing or auditing
*Experience in a production driven environment with high quality expectations
*Previous analytical, detail oriented roles
College degree or equivalent work experience
Local candidates preferred.
